Can't we use 'would' here to guess? like: 'He would be twenty this year' means 'I think he is twenty this year or I guess he is twenty this year'. Am I correct? please help.

I would love to get the answers from others. please.

"Will" sounds better. It could still be used to guess: "I think he will be twenty this year."

suppose,I have a friend. His name is Alex. I haven't seen him for almost fifteen years. I have almost forgotton what he looks like. And today I am talking about him with my another friend, Jack. Jack asks me,"How old is your friend?" And I say,"He would be twenty this year". Here the use of would is correct, right??

It's OK, but not great. I don't recommend it as a first choice. Anyway, it's not the only word you could use. "should" is also possible. Adding "I think" at the beginning helps convey the uncertainty.

[I think he / It seems to me that he] [ will be / should be / would be / might be turning / is proba
