Sorry, I'm using it in what I think is a compound of a Latin word. And that's not going to be helpful is it?

I gave you a definition of a modern equivalent to avoid confusion. Haha!

Actually, I have reached a reasonable conclusion on the Latin (who's insueti and insueta can show that the 'in' in insuant is probably a compound preposition with the Middle English suant).

Thank you for your time (and it's my fault for trying to make sense of Roman battles that have no reports from anyone other than the Romans).
