Is there usually comma in the "Neither...nor" combo?"

Ex:

"Neither you nor I put anything in the rabbit."

or

"Neither you, nor I put anything in the rabbit."

As far as I know "nor" is a coordinating conjunction; although, when the sentence is short, it is allowed to omit the comma. So which is it?

Thanks.

Is it always without comma, and could you please briefly explain why? Thank you.

Yes. A comma would be similarly wrong in John and I went to the same school.
