Is there such phrase ? --> “will be yellowed"

when something is white or pale in color is exposed to sunlight, yellowing will occur. ”Yellowing" is often seen to be used as noun in many context. However, is it normal or odd to use it as a verb? e.g. The white object will be yellowed over time under vigorous sunlight
