Is there something wrong with my grammar?

I posted a thread in TW, asking about passive verbs in poetry. Then someone told me that my language was not English. I was wondering how did she know about that. Was there something wrong with my grammar or perhaps I didn't explain more clearer about the question?

This is what I posted in TW:

Lately, I've been thinking if passive verb would lessen the voice in poetry. Because, recently, I was reading some critiques at someone's story. They said that using passive verb would weaken the tone of the story, and I was thinking if that principle also applicable on poetry too. Any ideas?

Hi, What's TW? There is some truth in what was said about passive voice, and I don't see why that wouldn't apply in a general way to poetry as well. But I think you have to consider each case individually instead of relying on general statements..

TW ? By any chance it meant "Taiwan"? You have to show the forum what you wrote so that people can offer their opinions on it.
