Is there something incorrect with this sentence?

Hello,

First my sentence in question:

"Our football group is a lot bit different from the other groups of supporters is that it aims to combine not a big mob of people, but a crew that consists of people who are with genuineness, creativity and an exemplary manner of life. "

After I written down this sentence a friend said that the use of the second "is" was incorrect and suggested that it be "in", not "is" so as to look this way:

"Our football group is a lot bit different from the other groups of supporters in that it aims to combine not a big mob of people, but a crew that consists of people who are with genuineness, creativity and an exemplary manner of life. "

Do you agree?

Thanks.
