Is there not enough money in this world?

Hi guys, I need your views on this:Is there not enough money in this world which makes a man/woman happy? I have noticed that especially politicians, business-men and many other rich people and a few middle-class people are always so greedy and they run after money without giving enough time to themselves nor to their families. However they eventually do come alone in this world and will go alone then why? Is it kind of disease or something else?

Money can't make you happy or sad - money is just money.

Look at those who've had an enormous amount of it but have gone to their graves early, depressed and desperately unhappy.

On the other hand, we can all find examples of people who don't have a large amount of money, yet are always smiling, happy, content with their lives and emitting nothing but positive energy.

Happiness comes from within, feeling happy first about yourself, and then with the world around you. Money or material things cannot lead you to the path of true happiness.

Hi,
Some of you may already know the way I think, the way I see things. So, it's just an opinion, my opinion.
I would certainly be VERRRY happy if I had a lot of money. We need money for everything, every moment, for us, for our kids, therefore we don't want money, we simply NEED them. Having money means also to be able to make them, means also to be able to help the others in many ways, means to live your life fully, and means to have many responsibilities. Sure is easier not to think how to make money, but how can we live an 'empty' life? I studied a bit biographies of rich people. It is very exciting indeed. I always learn very interesting things from them. What I understand is that they make money because they love what they do, because they are brilliant people with brilliant brains, because they work HARD. They are proud of what they have achieved in life and many people are proud of them and thank to them because they are helping constantly the others.
So, I believe is not that bad to have money, but it would be grandiose to have a lot of money

A very important thing though is to learn how to make them not to have them.

I want to have heating, warm water, light in my flat, and I want to give healthy food to my family every day. Only this things need a lot of money. Right?

Men are full of greed. The more we get, the better it is. Wont take money to our graves but will definitely look forward to gather more and more. It's troublesome that we find it difficult to balance out our lives between the job (whatever it is) and the family.

If I look at it, I am on the same lines. I am earning and doing everything to keep my job - just for money, greed for money. I know I wont be nothing without a job or money. I am working hard to move further. I could be happy with what I have but no, I want to move up the ladder.

1. Yes, I agree with that satement absolutely, and I cannot imagine why some people regard money as a bad thing. Many bad associations is living in human's mind connection with money. Some think, money is bad and ruin mind, soul and life. Good news! Money is just an object, it doesn't able to do any bad. In the reality, so, there is no prooved connection between money and badness. We should be happy, however, about it, cause that means, we are able to manage goodness and badness, we have the power to rule these things.

2. The other thing what makes me thinking is, the many debate around that old saying "Money doesn't make you happy". That statement hold a right content, no one can say, it doesn't, even so, it seems not to be complete enough to some and they miss some sort of second part of the sentence. Some people maybe would complete the sentence the way like this: "Money doesn't make you happy, that is why, you don't need it". They think, problem is solved, if something doesn't make you happy, that cannot be needed for you. But what about the many things, that doesn't make us happy, even so we need them? "My glasses doesn't make me happy, but I need them", "My pullover doesn't make me happy, but I need it.", "My laptop doesn't......", etc, etc, etc..... All this things, however, can give me short, not long-lasted happyness, when I use them in the right case, right place, etc. (my glasses, if I cannot see, my pullover, if there is cold, and so on) The case is the same with money. So, these objects, what can give me that short-happynes would I call "Needed things".

All these NEEDED things (glasses, pulls, and also money) are very important and can lead a sustained, fuller happyness feeling what state (at least after some happyness-experts) in doing, working, creating things what you love, or - expressed some nicer - "called" to do. A full and happy life can give also altruism (at least psychologies currently state).

Maybe , that s why, the other part of the people complete the sentence like this: "Money doesn't make you happy, but you need it".

Right. But "greed" is not the nicest expression to it. Rather I would say, that we are full of ambitions, and we want more and more. If we wouldn't do so, all the world couldn't move forward. And how the "Wises" saying: There are no stagnation exist, there is only falling back.

Ps: of course, there are thing what are usefull for living a complete life, and there are many thing what we do not need for it. Discration is our only job. To be able to separate what we really need for a complete and also spiritually reach life and what we don't.
