Is there eloquent English writer actually?

When I took a class in university, I heard that among English speakers there is not absolutely eloquent English writer, which means writing ability spectrum is not that broad, unlike Korea.

However, sometimes I saw a little bit messed up words in essays which are hard to translate. They were not clear, inaccurate, and ambiguous.

How do you think of differences among English writers?

I'd like to hear your opinions.

That is not true. A modern eloquent writer is Martin Luther King, who wrote this in a letter from jail. https://www.a
