Is there anything wrong with this sentence?

I'm in a Whatsapp group and we've all taken to correcting everything each other says.

Somebody just said the following, and I wondered if I could correct them in any way! Haha.

"Just for future reference, gents, to peek around a corner is spelled as I have done so in this sentence. It's not "peak". Carry on."

That is largely OK, but I would recommend using quotation marks around "to peek around a corner", as you have done with "peak". Also, the word "so" should be deleted.
