Hi, Is there anything wrong with the following sentence made by me :

He strained the water off his wet pants by wringing them.

In my opinion, you have three mixed concepts here which don't really work together.

A fourth problem is that "wet pants" suggests an embarrassing cause.
Avoid "I wet my pants."

My pants were/got soaked.
His pants were soaking wet.

You can't "strain" without a strainer. You strain objects (tea leaves, sediment) out of a liquid.
