Is there anything like "Heavy Weather"?

Hi every one;

Is there any term like "heavy weather" to talk about climate? How's the weather when we say it as "heavy weather"?

Thanks

First: 'weather' is not 'climate' and 'climate' is not 'weather'. Bbk_agp How's the weather when we say it as "heavy weather"? To me it only sounds like bad weather.

Mister Micawber 'weather' is not 'climate' and 'climate' is not 'weather'.
I just tried to avoid using the word "weather" twice. So I thought something to use instead of weather and the first word was climate which however is not correct one! What could I use?

One of my students used "heavy weather" and I said that there isn't any term like that in E

Bbk_agpbut is it correct use? Isn't it a bad English?
No, it is good use. You may hear it more among sailors.

Hi

Yes, it is also an idiom that means: taking too long or putting too much effort into something:

- I asked John for that report a week ago: he's making heavy weather of it

- I just wanted a cheese sandwich, there's no need to make heavy weather of it
