I need help with CPT questions. I'm struggling to get a score of 75 on the CPT. I really need that score to get into the nursing program. I need practice, practice, and practice.

If you want to help, then please do! I will go ahead and post 4 questions:

“Sesame Street” is the most thoroughly researched television program in history. It was studied before it went on the air and has been analyzed since. Its success in achieving its basic goal, improving the reading arithmetic, and other basic skills of young children, has been well-documented. There is also some evidence that children imitate the human behavior they observe on the program. These harmless, often amusing imitative acts may justify the current concern about the effects on children of televised violence.

One of the rights a citizen of the United States is supposed to have is the right to a fair and speedy trial. Trials cannot take place quickly because court calendars are overly crowded, probably because there are not enough judges. Clearly, something must be done to reform the judicial system so that a fundamental right is guaranteed.

The passage says that something must be done to reform the system. That means 'in the future'. Therefore, it is not being reformed yet. Try again. Think bigger. Find the main idea. Don't be distracted by details that illustrate the main idea.

2) courts are overcrowded and judges are overworked? No. That's a detail. Read the first and last sentences of the paragraph.
3) when they are seen? OK Is it really so hard? Consider words like 'returned', 'as', 'gradually', 'take shape'. These are all about changes over time.

As for question number 2, I think it is a basic right of United States citizens is being violated. I read it again and it makes sense! I think I need to read carefully! I will do that with the rest of the questions and post them here for you to correct it if that's OK with you.
