Is there anybody who doesn't like Brigid Jones's Diary?
Hello :-)
I love books and life without them would be more complicated, I think.. When I read about different people and their feelings, more things and events seem more understanable for me. But :-) 'Brigid Jones's Dairy' gives me nothing. I do not like the language, the humour there and the concepction of the main character. But I am afraid that I will be the only person on our planet who feels this way ;-)

To be frank, I agree with you. I didn't like the plot, nor the characters, nor the way it's been written. It was a bit of a let down.

Really? I enjoyed it and found it quite funny. Not the most hilarious book ever written but amusing and I liked the diary style.

I read the book an watched the movie. I think the book was good. it was interesting to read someone's diary. but I didin't like the movie. usually when a book is made to a movie always something is missing. I prefer to read everytime..

Yes, it does, but I also think the book is far better than the movie.
If you watch the movie after reading it, you will definitely feel that something is missing.
