is there any other ways of saying "public service entrance exam?"

Hi,

My sister always told me I cannot put all the noun adjectives in front of a noun. That made the sentence sounds weird. So what is the proper way to say the proper name? does "entrance exam of public service" or "entrance exam for public service" make it better?

thanks

clee62 My sister always told me I cannot put all the noun adjectives in front of a noun. That made the sentence sounds weird. I don't see anything wrong with using multiple noun adjuncts to describe a noun.

However, "public service entrance exam" is just fine. Yes, you reach a point where you sound silly if you have too many, and there is no magic number that is okay, and then not-okay, but you're okay with this one.

haha yeah, your former example makes it sound like you were court ordered to do entrance exams.

Thank you so much guys!

So both latter cases work fine in that case both prepositions work in the same way?

Thanks,

In the same way as what?

Too many prepositional phrases strung together will sound silly, yes.
