Is there any omission when "as + adjective" structure is used?

Is there any omission when "as + adjective" structure is used?

For example:

You must do it as wanted.

Is there any omission in the as clause?

If there is, then what's the complete form? I think it's You must do it as it is wanted. Is that the case?

You must do it as wanted . Yes, but "as" is a preposition, so the underlined element is not a clause but a preposition phrase with the clause "wanted" as complement of "as". Subordinate clauses can be reduced by ellipsis to just a verb if the rest of the clause is recoverable anaphorically.
