Essay & Composition Writing

Is there any mistakes??

Hello. My name is Jullie and I'm 17.

This is my assignment for the writing class.

Could someone check it for me, please?

My dream for the future is to become a Russian teacher for foreigners, hopefully at a university. At first, I wanted to teach primary school children who moved to Russia because of their parents’ jobs. Some of them are not able to understand Russian well enough to keep up with their classes. They need good opportunities to receive adequate Russian education. This was why I decided to teach Russian to such children. But my mother, who works as a Russian teacher, did not agree with my thought. She said its pay would not be enough to live on because the government gives very little money to Russian education and intends to manage with motivated volunteers. This changed my mind easily. I think I should lead an independent life as soon as possible so that I do not have to rely on my parents and also can repay them. For that reason, after much deliberation, I decided to become a Russian teacher at a university in my future.
