Is there any easy way to handwrite "&"mark?

To handwrite the mark "&", sometimes it feel difficult and I saw english people write "&" like "$". Any simple mark for "&" in handwriting?

In US handwriting, the sign most often seen is a plus sign with the bottom end and left end connected by a 45 degree line. With a little practice this can be very rapidly done without lifting the pen from the paper.

Another sign, harder to do because and you have to lift the pen off the paper twice, is a backward number "three," with two short vertical lines on the top and bottom of it.

This is common in the UK too. Sorry ... I'm thinking now that the symbol I was referring to earlier may actually be this one.
