Hi buddies. Is there a Web site where I can upload my voice recordings? I am wondering if someone would be interested in making suggestions for my pronunciation and intonation.

Hi,
there are several file hosting services, free and that don't signing up. I can only think of zippyshare or mediafire now. Or you can use a service like Youtube (which requires an account though). Or if you don't have thousands of files and you just want to upload a couple, you can also upload them here on this server. There should be a button above the textbox when you are writing a post, "attach an audio clip". Then it will be played with an embedded player here. It requires Java to upload it though (which unfortunately doesn't work for me. I hate Java grrr).

This site allows uploading an image, audio clips are not supported.

I've just (belatedly) discovered that you can upload a short recording of yourself using the "attach an audio clip" function that you can see when you are posting a message!

Just click on the words "attach an audio clip", then press the red button to start recording, and speak into your microphone. When you are finished speaking, press the little diskette button in order to save what you've just recorded. Then post your message as usual.

Hi Jingtian

When you click on the reply button in a thread, you get a box in which you can type your reply. Above that reply box, you can see the words "attach an Image" and also "attach an audio clip".

If you click on "attach an audio clip" you should get a little bar with the audio controls on it. After you press the red button there you can record a short message. Currently, the message is limited to 20 seconds, but I have suggested to the admin that the length be extended. But for now this function is limited to a 20-second message.

I tested IE6, Firefox, Opera and Chrome. All browsers work except Chrome. :-(
