What is the difference between:
1a. Is a sofa in the living room?
1b. Is there a sofa in the living room?
2a. A sofa is in the living room. (I would think that this means: a sofa NOT an armchair is in the living room)
2b. There is a sofa in the living room. (I would think that this simply announced the existence of a sofa in the living room).
