Are there any hint to telling which one is a adverb, verbs, and preposition? Instead of looking through the dictionary to see which part of speech is it.

It's difficult to come up with hints that will work in every case. The only one of the three you've mentioned which must always be present in a complete sentence or clause, is the verb. It names the action which something or someone performs. It's usually a singl
