Is the underlined wording okay?
In the event of need for a loan, half of the respondents would not consider non-bank lender as an option, and the main reasons for that are high interest rate, distrust towards the lender and an overall bad opinion of the society regarding the field of non-banks.

It's grammatical, but wordy. Why not say
"Half the respondents said that if they needed a loan, they wouldn't consider a non-bank lender,...."
"Half the respondents said that if they needed a loan, they wouldn't consider a non-bank lender,...."
