Is the term Wannahaves - english or not?

Hi,

English is not my native language and i am wondering if the term Wannahaves is used in the UK and or US.

Where i'm from (Amsterdam) the term means "Gadgets" mosly for men, as in cool things a man would like to own or something along those lines..

If the term is not really used in the UK or US i would like to know if it still plausible or that it explains itself enough to think that it must mean "gadgets" ?

Thanks,

Higgins

I have never heard or seen it before. If I had to guess, I might think it referred to people who wanted to have many things.

Me either. But I'd align it was the more familiar "Wannabe."

So my "fear: was right, the term does not "exist" in the Uk or US.

Is there a term that IS widely used for "gadgets" ....? either in standard english or slang.....

Thanks for answering btw.
