Is the sentence natural?

To a greater or lesser degree, everybody has burdensome problems(,) such as physical and spiritual illness, financial difficulties, various problems caused by aging, human relationship problems and difficulties caused by natural disasters and accidents.

1. Is the sentence natural?
2. Is the comma after "problem" optional?
3. Should it be "illnesses" instead of" "illness"?
