Is the sentence grammatically correct?

I hear the faint rustle of sheets as Coop sits up in bed. It crosses my mind that he might not be alone. It’s likely he has someone sleeping next to him most nights and I just don’t know it.

he has someone sleeping= he is making someone sleep??

Hasibul Alam It’s likely he has someone sleeping next to him most nights ... ~ It is likely that someone is sleeping next to him most nights ... 'has' is like 'experiences' here, but the better paraphrase (given in the previous line) can leave that out.
