Is the semicolon correct?

Please help me construct this sentence so that it makes sense. I need a semicolon, and I'm not sure if it is in the right place.

I hold an endless fascination for the unexplainable and outer space; only interested in the smarts and the arts.

So then how can I seperate the second part of the sentence? "Only interested in..."
