Is the second "for" used wrongly?

This is the sentence I am concerned about,

I am writing to express my thanks for referring me to Mr Shannon for our services.

There are two "for" used in the sentence and I feel the second one is wrong.

Of course, there maybe more mistakes as English is not my first language. If the sentence can be made better please do let me know.

Thanks!

This is the sentence I am concerned about, I am writing to express ' to you' my thanks for referring me to Mr Shannon for our services. I don't understand what 'for our services' means here. Do you perhaps mean 'recommending'.
