Is the repetition correct?

Is the repetition in sentence A correct? Should I go with A or B?

A/ When I think of batman I think of the cartoon, not the movie.

B/ When I think of batman, the first thing that comes to mind is the cartoon not the movie.

When I think of B atman, I think of the cartoon, not the movie. When I think of B atman, the first thing that comes to mind is the cartoon , not the movie. Both are correct as amended, but the second is a bit wordy.
