Is the position of "to" correct in this sentence?

I'm really not sure. Thank you for help.

"The fear of contaminated food led 42 per cent of the respondents to avoid eating out altogether."

(I think this is correct but a grammar checking software has labelled it as wrong. It doesn't like "led" and "to" being separated.)
