Is 'the' necessary here?

Hello.

Imagine you are making a report. It's about a vehice. Sentence is like this;

G rise at take-off and re-acceleration is slow and the response is impaired

I don't think the definite article (the) is not necessary here. But I'm not sure.

I'd appreciate your advice.
