01font00I have never owned any GPS unit. I was just thinking that can a GPS unit work without any digital map? Countries like USA and UK etc. have digital maps for GPS navigation. There are many countries which do not have any digital maps yet. Will GPS unit work in such countries? Will GPS unit display longitude and lattitude coordinates in such countries? If it could show lattitude and longitude coordinates, then it would be a fun because one can find one's home easily by just putting those coordinates in Google Earth. Or will it be a just waste of money to buy a GPS unit for a country which do not have digital map?02font0-
