Is the following sentence of mine using the word 'respectively' grammatically correct?

Is the following sentence of mine using the word 'respectively' grammatically correct? If not, how can I fix it? Thank you.

In that seal the inscriptions CARLETON UNIVERSITY and ONTARIO, CANADA refer to the name and location, respectively, of the school.
