Thank you very much Hamid,

how about:

"First of all, many thanks for your emails. I'm very motivated to work with you and Prof Hugh, I hope this joint research will be a success in an academic level and a formative experience in a personal level."

thanks!

You are welcome.
Your second version reads well. Note that you have to use period after abbreviations, so you should say Prof. Hugh.

Full stops (periods) are not essential in BrE. In fact many of us do not use them.

Did you mean "educational" or "instructive"? I seem to recall that "formation" or "formacion" has to do with education or instruction in some languages.

Thank you very much for your responses.

1. What do you mean with BrE?

2. By formative I mean educational but in a wide perspective. Thats why it goes with "personal level". Formative includes values, language, etc. Not just educational as in the academic level. Is the concept understood or i should change it?

thank you all again !

BrE means British English.
AmE means American English.

No, don't change it. I was just curious because I don't hear the word used much where I live.
