The citizens of Neverwinter viewed Alegni’s defeat as the perfect opportunity to revolt against the Shadovar forces occupying the city, and they immediately attacked the Netherese. Ambergris and Glorfathel, an elf wizard of Cavus Dun who was one of the leaders of the Netherese forces in Neverwinter and served Draygo, quickly realized that the Shadovar were outmatched by their opposition.
