Is the construct with multiple to + object correct and usual?

Here is an example sentence:

Examples of distributed systems vary from SOA-based systems to massively multiplayer online games to peer-to-peer applications

The two blocks of underlined words seem like listing of sentence objects, having the same meaning and position in the sentence and "from-to" section .
This is not allowed in my mother tongue.

Is this correct in English? For how many times this "to+ object" construct can be repeated in a single sentence?

Thanks
