Is the conjunction/word NECESSARY?

Could you tell me which could be said and if the words are optional?

1 I don’t know how much money I’ve got left on my card.

2 I don’t know how much money (there) is left on my card. (Is THERE optional?)

3 The blonder the girl the stupider the girl (is)

4 He checks his mail box (just) like/as you check yours which is once every two days

5 He can do comedies just as (well as) he can do thriller. Can you leave out ?)

People have told me that it sounds more natural with WELL but is it correct to say it without and have you heard it? I'm not trying to say he does both well but that he does both wether well or bad.

Can you say?

  • What origin are you?

You should say "where are you from?" not what origin are you.
