Is the colon use correct or should it be a comma? Tanis is the "son" btws

Since Elansa died giving birth to her son, Solostaran took Tanis into his household and he was raised with the Speaker’s three children: Porthios, Gilthanas, and Laurana.

I think the colon is exactly right because it is used to introduce a list

(But I don't think a comma is needed after 'Gilthanas')
