Hi teachers~
I would like to know if there is any difference between take a sip of sth and take a sip from sth.
Can you tell me whcih one is more common?
Thanks~

I guess you take a sip "from" the container and "of" what is in it.
"He took a sip of water from his canteen."
"He took a sip of water."
"He took a sip from his canteen."

Have could be used instead. You can choose.
