In one of the grammar books I came across the following example.
Direct speech:
My father said to me "Don't be impatient about the result of your examination."
Indirect speech:
My father suggested to me not to be impatient about the result of my examination.
Is "suggest + to" correct here. Should it be "suggested me" ?
