Is sick or has been sick
Can you please explain to me the differnce between the two sentences in terms of tense usage?
When a family member is sick, I go along to the doctor to explain the problem.
When a family member has been sick, I have gone along to the doctor to explain the problem.
When a family member is sick, I go along to the doctor to explain the problem.
When a family member has been sick, I have gone along to the doctor to explain the problem.
