Is "sharply" the word to use?

How would you say this question please?

1 When making pamphlets, fold each of the pages in half/down the middle (that make up the pamphlet) sharply so that the each pamplet is flat and not chubby (pamphlet not flat).

Thank you

Fold each page in half with a firm crease so [that] the pamphlet will not bulge. "Sharp" sounds OK to me, you could use it instead of FIRM in that sentence. I guess you mean "pinch the crease between your fingernails and run them along it, to make the fold sharp or tight".

  • I think the above sentence implies something like that, but you could spell it out; depends how **** you are :-)
