Is "s" the word "thuds" voiced?

IMO it voiced because "d" is a voiced sound. Am I correct?

Correct.

If you add "s" to words that end in the sounds /p/, /t/, /k/, /f/, /?/, /s/, or /?/, the "s" is unvoiced. In all other cases, it's voiced (/z/).
