Is recorded for

In the following sentence,
The fasting blood sugar of the patient is then recorded for at the time 
the patient receives the drug and at 6 hours intervals over a 2-day period of time. 
 
my understanding for the (original) active voice is
(The nurse) records the fasting blood sugar of the patient at the time
 the patient receives the drug and at 6 hours intervals over a 2-day period of time. 
 
So why did the author put for after "is then recorded " when the active voice  sentence
 was turned into passive voice?
