Is 'reason' redundant?

There are many people who do not know the reason why one always faces relationship problems, financial problems or health problems repeatedly.

Is 'reason' redundant?

Thanks.

"the reason" can be removed. "one" does not seem to fit the sentence. If it is "many people" who face the problems then use "they" instead.

  • "the reason" can be removed.
  • "one" does not seem to fit the sentence.
  • If it is "many people" who face the problems then use "they" instead.
  • It does not seem necessary to say both "always" and "repeatedly".
  • If you want to use "repeatedly", I would move it to the position of "always".

This combination is used, but you can remove either 'reason' or 'why'.
