Is "How do you think...?" strange?

I think most English speakers would say "What do you think about the recent bomb attacks in Iraq?" but is it also OK to say "How do you think about the recent bomb attacks in Iraq?"

Q "How do you think about ___________?"
A " I think about ____________ by using my brain."
So, no, we don't say How do you think about _____ ? unless we are interested in cognitive process.

We can, however, say "How do you feel about _______ ?"
"_______ makes me feel angry, sad, mad (etc.)."
