Is 'overinterpret' a word???

I tried to look it up in a dictionary but couldn't find a definition for it

I tried google and I found quite a lot of search results with the word 'overinterpret' included in them.

I am confused as to whether 'overinterpret' is an officially recognized word or not...if it is not, what can i use instead of it???

Thanx guys ^^

I don't know if it's official or not, but I would use it to mean "don't apply too much meaning to this."

I don't find it in my general dictionary either but Chicago Manual of Style shows words formed with the prefix 'over-' to bre closed compounds so 'overinterpret' would be correct, at least by their style guide.
