I am asking a question as I am not a native speaker of english and it's creating lots of confusion in my mind. Can any native speaker guide me which of the follwing sentences is grammatically correct in this context.
1)- who is your favourite footballer and cricketer?
2)- who are your favourite footballer and cricketer?
Note:- My favourite footballer and cricketer are two different persons.
And I have one more question, is the follwing sentence grammatically correct without the word 'respectively'.
My favourite cricketer and footballer are Sachin Tendulkar and Lionel Messi respectively.
Thanks in advance.??
