Hi!

I am often confused how to write

"Mike and Peter is ready" or "Mike and Peter are ready" ?

Mike and Peter -- This is the subject. You have a compound subject, joined by an "and." You need to use the plural form of the verb.

Hi Ivan,

You've got to be careful with "I am" and "... and I are" structures as well.

For instance:

- I am ready

- Mike, Peter and I are ready
