Is "once again" redundant?

Teacher to students: Let me remind you once again to hand in your English homework tomorrow.

Is "once again" redundant?

Thanks.

I don't think it's redundant if the students have been reminded more than once, but perhaps when it was the first time.

No.

On Monday you announce the homework. On Wednesday you remind them about it. You do it again on Thursday.

You tell them ONCE and then you tell them either AGAIN or ONCE AGAIN.

But if you have not told them once, you can't use once again because it's not repetition.

1. Let me remind you
2. Let me remind you again
3. Let me remind you once again
4. Let me remind you once again
5. Let me remind you once again
6. Let me remind you once again

But maybe it's not important to worry about this.
