Is of

Hi Everyone,

When I say "A ring is high quality"

What does it differ from "A ring is of high quality"?

Thanks in Advance,

I don't think there's any difference in meaning. I don't know what the grammatical explanation is, but the sentence order determines whether or not "of" is used. This is a ring of high quality.
