Is my written sentence ok?

Supposing I was a UK MP and we are experiencing a new plant pest called xylella fadhhrhdieimsia.

Dear farmers,

Due to Xylella fadhrgrftu we would like to stop the import of palm trees to reduce argicultural turbulence.
